About

A proud native Louisianian, I was born and raised in Metairie, graduated from Grace King High School, and have long called New Orleans home. Raised with strong conservative values, I learned early the importance of personal responsibility, individual liberty, and limited government principles reinforced by watching my father serve in the state legislature with conviction and integrity.

For more than 35 years, I have worked alongside teachers, administrators, and community leaders to mentor and develop Louisiana’s future leaders. Since the age of 12, I have been involved with the Louisiana Association of Student Councils, and today I continue to dedicate time each summer to mentoring more than 500 students from across the state.

I am a business leader, civic volunteer, and education advocate who has served on boards including the New Orleans City Park Board of Commissioners and the Delgado Community College Foundation. As Senior Vice President at HUB International, and through my background in economic development and business, I understand that strong schools are essential to a strong economy. I believe in putting students first, empowering parents, and expanding quality education options for every Louisiana family.
